Auto Drivers Sevalo (Andhra Pradesh)
Auto Drivers Sevalo is an Andhra Pradesh scheme that gives ₹15,000 a year to auto-rickshaw, taxi (motor cab) and maxi-cab drivers who own and drive their own vehicle. It was started in October 2025 to support drivers after free bus travel for women began.
What is Auto Drivers Sevalo?
The Andhra Pradesh government launched Auto Drivers Sevalo on 4 October 2025 in Vijayawada. About 2.9 lakh drivers received ₹15,000 each (about ₹436 crore in total) directly in their bank accounts. The government said the scheme supports drivers whose income was affected by Stree Shakti free bus travel for women.
Who is eligible?
- Drivers of auto-rickshaws, motor cabs (taxis) and maxi cabs.
- You must own the vehicle and drive it yourself.
- A valid driving licence and vehicle registration in Andhra Pradesh.
- Other welfare conditions set by the government apply (for example household and income checks done by the secretariat).

Missed the payment?
Eligible drivers who did not get the money were told they could apply, and the government would check their eligibility. Contact your village or ward secretariat with your licence, RC and Aadhaar.
